Terms / using the platform

A careful place for unfinished stories.

These working terms describe the intended pilot rules. They require legal review before real public intake opens.

Pre-launch working policyLast updated September 5, 2026Operator: The Upper Room Ventures Incorporated

Eligibility and accounts

The approved pilot is for contributors aged 18 or older in Alberta. Participation by minors and expansion beyond Alberta are deferred. A person must provide accurate account information, protect their sign-in and use only their own account. Impersonation and unauthorized access are prohibited.

Your words and the permissions you give

You keep ownership of content you create. You give The Upper Room Ventures Incorporated only the limited permissions you select for the exact version involved. Written publication, images, narration generation, public audio, audio download, social assets, project reposting and paid promotion are separate choices. A permission is not implied by another choice.

You must have the right to submit the material and must respect the privacy, copyright and safety of other people shown or described. Do not submit content that impersonates, targets or harasses someone; promotes hatred; gives instructions for self-harm; exploits another person; infringes copyright; or facilitates illegal activity.

Moderation, holds and release

Every submission is reviewed by a human. One More Page may approve, request changes, place a story on hold or decline it. There is no right to publication and no guaranteed response or release time. Approval and public release are separate actions, and neither happens automatically. A follow-up page needs fresh permissions, exact-version approval, moderation and release.

Withdrawal and outside copies

A verified contributor may withdraw their story from project-controlled public views and future project-controlled use. One More Page cannot promise to retrieve copies that someone else already downloaded, copied or reposted. Limited records may remain for safety, legal, security and withdrawal-enforcement purposes as explained in the privacy policy.

Accounts and service availability

Access may be paused or suspended to protect contributors, enforce these rules, respond to a critical failure or comply with law. The service may change, pause or end, and features may be unavailable. Changes to these terms will be dated and explained.

Important limits

One More Page is a storytelling platform, not a crisis service, therapist, treatment provider or source of medical advice. Submitting a story does not summon emergency help and the platform is not continuously monitored. Use the Safety and Crisis Resources page when immediate or professional human support is needed.
