Canada's Suicide Crisis Helpline connects you with a trained human responder. It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in English and French. Its official site explains privacy, waiting and the limited situations in which emergency services may be involved.

211 Alberta is an outside, free and confidential service available around the clock. It connects Albertans with mental health, addiction, crisis, community and social supports. Phone support is available in more than 240 languages.
Health Link provides Alberta health information and advice from nurses 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can also speak with a primary-care provider or another trusted health professional.
